2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympic Fencing Gold Medalist Park Sang Young asked to support Produce 101 Season 2 trainee Kwon Hyunbin.
On 17th April, Park Sang Young posted a picture of Kwon Hyun Bin on his social network service (SNS) saying, "a close friend of mine is on Produce 101"
He also mentions, "Even before this, I ran hard towards my dream and finally got to achieve it. I hope Kwon Hyunbin will also achieve his dream soon."
It was said that Kwon Hyunbin had once trained for fencing but was reported to have given up fencing due to a thigh muscle injury. Both Kwon Hyun Bin and Park Sang Young seem to have become acquainted with fencing.
Meanwhile, Kwon Hyun Bin ranked 22nd in the 'Produce 101 Season 2' third place poll.
