A Produce 101 trainee who had once appeared on national broadcast was known to look alike a popular figure and it became a hot topic.
A recent online community has revealed the past of a Produce 101 Season 2 trainee. The main character is Park Woojin, a 1 year and 2 months trainee from Brand New Music.
He appeared on the survival audition program called 'Superstar K' 8 years ago with the dream and passion to be a singer. Park Woojin, who was 11 years old at that time, appeared in the preliminary audition in Busan and had attracted attention for his resemblance that is alike Big Bang's T.O.P.
On the day of the broadcast, Park Woojin said, "I heard a lot of people say that I resemble Big Bang's T.O.P. My favorite singer is also a Big Bang. I want to tell him, 'I'll be successful and see you soon."
Now, 8 years have passed since then and Park Woojin has showed versatile appearance on Produce 101. In the recent re-evaluation that was broadcast on the 14th, he perfected the choreography and got a good evaluation from the trainers. Having successfully completed the 2PM's 10 points out of 10 points stage, he made fans feel heartwarming through the 1-to-1 eye contact video that was recently released online (on Naver).
The amount of marks that Park Woojin got wasn't much compared to other high ranking trainees. Park Woojin did move from Top 70 until the 2nd episode. However, he showed how calm he was along with his cute appearance and stability every time.
